Jonathan and I snuck away to our favorite Wisconsin destination, Door County, about a month ago to go camping. We headed out first thing Thursday morning to take full advantage of our time. Such a beautiful place. We didn't leave Peninsula State Park but just once and believe it or not ran into someone from Freeport up there! Small world eh? We hiked, biked and just plain relaxed. The weather was a bit on the chilly side but that didn't stop us. We had an "ocean view" campsite as we called it. That first night it was really windy so you could hear the water breaking up against the rocks down on the shore. Talk about white noise, that was the best sound to go to sleep listening to! Those of you who knew me way back when...yes, I have turned a new leaf and I really do like camping! :)
Funny story about the dumpster and the grill...so this grill is the EXACT same kind as our current grill (Thanks again to the Wegners) and it has been through a few wind storms and received its fair share of bumps and bruises. So we "parted out" this old grill and the parts on our grill that were broke are now fixed!! The local camp host got a kick out of us coming and asking for screwdrivers, etc. so we could take apart the grill. :) Our motto...one person's trash is another's treasure! HAHA...some people buy postcards or t-shirts of their vacations, not the Flack's!
