Pumpkin Picaso!

I don't know who was more excited to carve pumpkins...Jonathan or Carter. ;) Sunday afternoon we started in on FOUR pumpkins. We bought two of the biggest pumpkins you've ever seen. They were so big that the kiddos had no problems slipping inside of them for a picture before bath time that night. ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Little Miss Personality

With each passing day Lucy grows into such a sweet and loving little girl. She's always got such a smile on her face and has been such a GREAT baby!!! While the boys were carving pumpkins on Sunday afternoon Lucy and I had a little photo session. She kept grabbing for the camera lens...does that mean she's going to be a future scrapper like her momma? Let's hope so!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grandma & Grandpa Flack Visit

Saturday night Grandma and Grandpa came up for dinner. They surprised us with pumpkins for us to decorate after dinner. Grandpa Flack worked so hard on some pumpkin face templates for us to choose from! It was a fun night and we were glad they were able to come up and see us!

 

 

 

 

Kettle Hiking

Saturday morning the four of us headed out to the Kettle to do a little hiking. We have been so blessed with gorgeous fall weather so we are taking advantage of it to the fullest before the white stuff starts to fall! Carter had a blast running through the leaves, finding large branches to drag out of the woods (he is SO his father's son) and just take in all of God's beautiful creations! Lucy took it all in and was a chatterbox until the last leg of the hike...how she managed to fall asleep is beyond me but she took a nice nap in the carrier! She woke up happy so I'm guessing her neck didn't hurt too badly!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Great Pumpkin Search

We've formed a tradition to head down to the Apple Barn every year for pumpkins and, or course, hot cider & cider doughnuts. :) What a great way to spend your 6th anniversary with your kiddos picking pumpkins. It was a great day! This was the first time with Lucy riding in the Kelty and she loved it!! We rode the pumpkin train, picked out pumpkins for all of us, grabbed a few apples to eat, and just enjoyed the family time!
