Future Cross Country Skier

Daddy took me cross country skiing last Wednesday night. It was during a HUGE snow storm. I had so much fun!! Again...my cheeks were really rosey but I didn't let a little cold air stop me! I'm just like my daddy...I prefer the outdoors!!!

Mowing Santa...part 2

When it is bath time I just get so excited!! I'm not sure if it is because all I've got on is a diaper or what...something about that freedom! I grabbed my mower and started running around like crazy!

Snow, Snow and more Snow!

The 2008 snow season is starting off much like the 2007 season did...VERY WHITE! Last Saturday the family headed outside to do a little shoveling and snow blowing...with my help! My little cheeks were just as rosey as could be, I had so much fun being outside in all that white stuff! In fact, I threw a downright FIT when I had to come inside...something about mommy saying it was just a bit too cold to stay out for hours and hours on end.

Mowing Santa

Uncle Jordan & Auntie Sarah gave me this fun mower for my 1st birthday. It has taken me a while to figure this out but wow...what a fun toy!! I LOVE to mow now...I'm just like daddy. The other night before bed I just couldn't get enough mowing time, mommy thought she would share. :)

Christmas Tree Fun!

On Black Friday we headed out and did a small amount of shopping...we went out after I woke up...although I did hear that mommy went out at 6:30 quickly...hmmm. Santa's elves were out in full force, that's for sure!! After we got back home we started in on decorating the house and trees! It was so much fun! I ran around the house all day long helping mommy and daddy!









I was SO tired that night that I could hardly make it through dinner!!

And He's Off...

14 1/2 months - I met a major milestone!! Over the past few weeks I've taken a few steps here and there but would head back to my ol' means of transportation...crawling! The night you've all been waiting for...on Wednesday night (11/12/08) I decided that it is time to be a big boy!!! I still am not quite sure what to do with my arms but I'm getting there!

By the way...we read in daddy's baby book that he didn't start walking until 15 months so I just wanted to be just like him!!!

Pantry fun!

First of all...let me explain my jammies...I had a little accident which caused for an early morning wardrobe change. :) Mommy and daddy accidentally left the pantry door open a few weeks ago and this little room is my new favorite place to play!! I toss all of the bowls on the floor and anything else that I can get my little hands on! My newest fun activity in my pantry play room is to stack up the cans that are on the floor. Daddy LOVES reorganizing the pantry nightly!

Happy Halloween...late

So these are a little late but here are some pictures from Carter's 2nd Halloween. We "reversed" trick-or-treated and delivered candy to the neighbor kids that would normally visit our house. Grandma Carter made me two costumes but, unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of me in the Frog... SORRY Grandma!! Mommy keeps saying that she is going to get me dressed up again so stay tuned! Until then...enjoy my "cold weather" costume!

Along the way I managed to dip into the treat bags and found myself a Kit Kat...yummmm! :)

Go U Dub Dub!!

This weekend Uncle Brandon & Auntie Kim came down for UWW's Homecoming, our annual tradition! We had so much fun at the parade and walking the campus. Daddy & Uncle Brandon took turns packing me around in my carrier (which I LOVE by the way). Too bad the Warhawks lost to the Pointers 16-17 in the last few seconds of the game! There went their 20 something-game winning streak!!! We still managed to have a great time despite the Warhawk loss!
Thanks for coming to visit Auntie Kim & Uncle Brandon...as always, I had such a great time!!!


John McCain & Sara Palin came to the parade...how nice!!! Between the Republican Party Nominees and the Sausages UWW scored some major celebrities this year!


Not sure who got the Sausages but rock on!! The Chorizo was making his round that day...he was on practically every float, it was hilarious!!

Grandma Carter made me TWO Halloween costumes to choose from. A frog and a lion! I LOVE the lion costume...when daddy put it on last week I crawled around roaring like a lion. Here is a Halloween preview!

Who Says Illinois Is ALL Flat?

Ok...once you get past the middle part of the state and that horrible drive on I-39, Illinois isn't THAT FLAT people!! Daddy and Mommy had a moment away down at the Garden of the Gods to do a little hiking. Here is the proof in the pudding that this area is full of rolling hills! Such a beautiful area!!
