Sweet Baby Katelyn!

Katelyn Marjorie Wegner arrived into this world on August 26th...the night the Brewers defeated the Cubbies at Miller Park! What a way to make her entrance into the world! I'm sure Brandon was watching the game in between pushes. :)
After our journey on the train we headed into Boo-town to meet the newest member to our UWW family! Kim and Brandon were doing great and Kim looked amazing! We loved all over that little girl! Lucy and Carter couldn't get enough of her! They were both so gentle with her...well, as gentle as Lucy can be. :) She LOVES her babies so Katelyn get ready for more lovin and cuddlin when we see you in a few weeks! Can't wait to see how much you've grown! And...Happy Birthday to Auntie Kim!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

North Freedom Train Ride!

Carter loved his birthday surprise train ride! The overall ride was an hour and both kids just sat and took in everything. After the ride was over we got to explore the train museum and walk the grounds. So much to see!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You're Only Four Once...

Carter's birthday this year had great timing...it was on a Friday. Daddy took the day off and we had a total Carter day. The morning started off with some goofing around in Lucy's crib, then we had Carter's favorite breakfast...chocolate chip pancakes. We opened up presents, played a little more, then got our official 4-year measurement. The fun for the day is about to begin - we are headed up to North Freedom to ride the train!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Camel Back Duo

Carter got a CamelBak (water bottle backpack) from G/G Carter for his birthday. He loves to use it whenever we go biking. Of course Jonathan had to get his out so they could be CamelBak buds!

 

 

 

 

Happy 4th Birthday Carter

Hard to believe September 2nd 2007 was four years ago now! I remember the evening like it was yesterday. Amazing how time flies when your life is filled with so much love and joy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Camping Attempt...#2 Success!

We attempted this camping thing one more time and this time it was a great success! Helps to have wonderful friends/neighbors that join you! We headed out to Yellowstone Park - what a hidden gem of a state park! From hotdogs to campfire crispies we were filled with yummy food all weekend long! Saturday morning we woke up to some wet weather but after an hour or so (yes we all stayed put under the shelter below) the dad's were able to get breakfast started for us. Lucy took a little nap while the rest of the group headed down to the beach for some fun in the sun!! What a trip - everyone was wiped out by the end of the weekend! Can't wait until the Flack/Baldry 2nd annual camping trip!!
