Pumpkins pumpkins pumpkins...

Well, a few weeks ago all of you saw the collection of pumpkins that we have collected. Now comes the fun part...carving!!! I had a little help carving my little green pumpkin but I think it turned out very well...despite mommy 2nd guessing why she let me do a little carving. Overall...I think I enjoyed eating the pumpkin seeds the most!!
I was a little unsure about this at first...but once I got going I had a blast!

Taaaa daaaa! The finished product!

Oh wait mom, I missed a spot.

Daddy's pumpkin, mommy's pumpkin and mine!

U Dub Dub! Homecoming 09

Well...even though the parade was totally lame we all managed to have a GREAT time! As always...love it when my Auntie Kim & Uncle Brandon come down to visit me. I keep telling mommy that she's sitting in Auntie Kim's chair. Hint hint...we want you two to come again very soon!

Our Northern Weekend...

We were supposed to travel with Grandma & Grandpa this weekend to see Great Grandma Carter, Aunt SuSu and the rest of the gang down in Southern Illinois. BUT...a nasty round of the flu bug (down there, thankfully not up here!) kept us here in Fort for the weekend. Darn flu - hopefully the area will be free and clear the next visit!! We can't wait to see you at Christmas!

Since we were homebound we decided to make the most of our weekend! Friday we headed over to Madison to the zoo. It was a brisk day for the zoo but we had so much fun! I even got to ride the train while at the zoo!!

Then this morning we got up and headed down to the fire station for the Fort Fireman's Annual Pancake Breakfast. FOUR words...ALL YOU CAN EAT!! After breakfast we headed outside to look at all the cool firetrucks!!! I really liked looking at all the trucks but wasn't too fond of being up that high, maybe next year I'll enjoy that part more! I did daddy's job, I made sure that the trucks were safe and that they had enough tire pressure - see me kicking the tires! I think these look safe to drive!

Apple Barn...year 2!

Boy the trip to the Apple Barn was MUCH different this year than last! For one thing...this year I'm walking...scratch that, RUNNING! I had three trips around the farm on the big tractor. It was so much fun! I picked out a few pumpkins - one green and two small orange ones. Daddy and mommy got a few more too - our family count is 6 pumpkins! We've got a lot of work cut out for us!

Busy Barns Field Trip

A few weeks ago my preschool, Parents Co-op Preschool, organized the first field trip of the year. We all headed to the Busy Barns Adventure Farm just outside of town. One word to describe this place...AWESOME! We ALL had so much fun!! Thanks to my friends Peyton and Wesley for joining us too!!

All my buds...from L-R: Peyton, Me, Noah, Hannah (she wasn't too excited about the gruop shot) and Wesley. We spend the good majority of our days together at Miss Lorrie's and we've all become such great friends!! It was fun going to the farm with you guys!! Can't wait to go again!
