Quick Peek...

So my room isn't 100% finished yet. Mommy just ordered the wallies to paste up on my wall. Once those are in and "installed" we'll get more pictures uploaded. The last picture is a little fuzzy - the camera was in the car all night and mommy didn't realize until it was almost too late! So my "first reaction" shots are a little fuzzy but that's ok! For all of you who know my mommy...the brighter the colors, the better! She had a lot of fun picking out colors for my room!

I was on vacation at Grandma & Grandpa Flack's house while the finishing touches were put on my room. Grandma & Papa brought me back up (along with Great Grandma Carter and Aunt SueSue) on that Wednesday after Christmas. I was so excited that I ASKED to take a nap that afternoon! Daddy read me my stories and down I went and the rest is history. Later on I got to help move my animals into my big boy room and even got to choose which ones stayed in bed and which ones went up on the shelf.

Overall the transition has gone VERY well and everyone couldn't be more pleased. Mommy and daddy really got me super excited before we made the move. I got to help go and pick out my new bed too, which was a lot of fun! We ordered a loft style set. Since our rooms are a little smaller we figured this would give me more room to play as I get older. Right now the 2 bookshelf lofts (we didn't spring for the desk part) are to the north and south of my bed. The chest is right as you come into the room. Mommy and daddy didn't realize how LARGE those loft pieces were until they were delivered. They thought they could just be stored away until we were ready for them...they would have taken up a lot of room so mommy and daddy put on their thinking hats and came up with the current arrangement.

Here is a pic of what my loft will eventually look like. The piece on the right is what we've got 2 of, no desk, as well as no extra bed.

Snow Much Fun

The month of December seemed to bring lots and lots of snow for our area! I was outside helping daddy one night with snow maintenance and wanted to play back at Carter park. I had so much fun going down the slide!!

"CUSHTON" Jumping

Mommy made the mistake of pulling all the cushions off the couch the other day so I could burn up some of my excess energy. Now it's my favorite thing to do. I can't seem to say the word cushion so my version is the next best thing. I love to run across the cushions and leap into a big pile of pillows at the end - we have pillows from every corner of the house! I can get some major air too! I heard daddy say this morning that we need to invest in a bouncy house...do you think the Easter bunny can fit that in his basket?

PS: Yes Grandma...my fuzzy red sleeper still fits! It's getting a little snug and we could use another one! I can't seem to stay covered up, even in my new big boy bed, so mommy still loads me up in lots of layers at night! :)

New Year's with the Wegners!

Auntie Kim & Uncle Brandon came down to celebrate New Year's with us. They got to see my new room (pics soon, I promise) and enjoy the night with mommy & daddy. Mommy and daddy said that they were the best NY's guests they've ever had...they said at 10:00 that they were turning in for the night! Mommy and daddy stayed up until 11 to watch the NYC ball drop and were asleep shortly after! It was great! :)

When I woke up on NY's day I asked if Uncle Brandon and Auntie Kim were still asleep and discovered that they weren't in their beds!! They had already boarded their plane to HAWAII!! They left on NY's night around 3 AM to catch their 5:30 flight out of Milwaukee to Honolulu!! Lucky dogs - we've had the coldest weather and they are sitting on a beach soaking up the sun! Hope you two have enjoyed your trip!!! We wish we could have joined you! :)
