Getting Closer...

She's getting a little closer with each day! She'll stand on her own for a while but once she sees that you are watching her, she'll slowly sit back down. We'll see if she'll be walking by one year! The countdown is on!

Warmer Days are Here?

Let's hope so! This has been quite a winter for this family! From countless ear infections, pneumonia, strep, adenoids, tubes...I think we've had enough of winter!! Last week we had a faily nice night and decided to get the kiddos out for some fresh air! It was Lucy's first wagon ride and she loved it!!

 

 

 

What a helper!

Carter just loves helping out! This one night in particular he felt the need to help Lucy with her dinner and that's just what he did! :)

 

 

 

 

Superbowl Fun!

The group got together to celebrate the SuperBowl and had a blast...as usual What would a football game be without a bunch of guys (and Miss Hannah!) without shirts on!! Scratch and grunt here we come! As Carter said at the end of the night...it's so sad to leave the party. ;)

 

 

 

 

Snow Fun

This area has definitely been blessed with snow for 2010-2011. Carter has loved helping us shovel and anything else that involves playing in the snow. Jonathan rigged a nice sled hill going down our deck steps!! The two of them headed down that quite a bit and Carter actually got the nerve to go down alone!!

 

 

 

 

Garfield...

Remember back in the 80's when you would always see those Garfield's stuck in the back of people's cars? Well...that's so what Lucy looked like one day when Jonathan and Carter were outside sledding! She was licking all over the glass and pounding on it whenever she saw daddy and Carter...I think she was a little anxious to get outside!!!

 

 

 

 

Lucy & her favorite rock

Many years ago when Jonathan and I first moved into our home, Jonathan's mom gave us this rock as a housewarming gift. It has a really neat picture of a cat painted on it. We've always had it sitting by the fireplace but it never stays ther anymore! Lucy LOVES to play with it! I'm not sure if it is her subtle way of hinting that she wants a cat or not... If so...the rock is just going to have to settle for now! :)

 

 

 

 

Dells Fun!

We loaded up the wagon a few weeks ago and headed up to the Dells to visit our great friends, the Wegners! They always show us a good time! Friday night we tried a new place, Buffalo Phil's! Let's just say that Pizza Pub is no longer the favorite place for Carter. We were lucky enough (thanks to Auntie Kim) to get a seat in their train room. Carter was in 7th heaven! There was a train that brought out your food/drinks to you. Carter loved it! He was so excited to see one of his favorite engines there too...Thomas! Boy oh boy do the Wegner's know how to spoil him!
While we were there we also found out that our group is expanding by one!! We are SOOO Happy for you Kim and Brandon! You two are going to be such wonderful and awesome parents! We can't wait to meet your new little one and show him/her as much love as you two have shown our kiddos. We love you guys!!!!!

Miss Puppy

The Baldry's just know how to pick out special gifts for our kiddos!! Miss Puppy came to us the night before Lucy's tube surgery back in January. She never let her out of her sight that night! It was so cute to watch her pack her around. Miss Puppy even accompanied Lucy into surgery the following morning. So now we've got a Mr. Puppy and Miss Puppy...both of which seem to be favorites of our kiddos - thanks again Baldry family!!

 

 

 

 

Randon Shots

A new favorite thing at our house is to jump on the cushions. It might not be the best for the foam but it sure has helped get that extra energy out of Carter this winter!!
