Finally...the picture mom has waited for...

On Sunday, February 24th I was baptized at the church where my mommy and daddy were married. It was such a wonderful day. My family and closest friends were there to share in the day with me.

Mommy has a lot of updating to do now that she's got her camera back...but she wanted to put up this very special picture for Grandma and Grandpa Carter. They hosted a WONDERFUL party in my honor after the service. They had lots and lots of good food and even better hospitality.

Big Boy Now!

Daddy keeps telling me that the days of me using my infant carrier are coming to an end. Daddy got my big boy chair out of the attic a few weeks ago. I go on March 4th for my 6 month appointment and mommy and daddy are afraid that I'll officially be over the weight and length requirements for my infant carrier. Daddy has started using the big boy seat but mommy is still hanging on to the carrier. Either way, I just go with the flow. I really like my new seat!

Our first trial run...we had to run to the grocery store quick (well...there is no more "quick" with a child). I didn't do too bad!

Here is the proof...

That I have no neck! I only show my neck to certain people on special occasions... even mommy and daddy are not able to see it too often. Daddy says I'm like a turtle!

Grandpa...I know how much you love these tub shots...haha! We made sure he is covered in his little "man area" before snapping the picture!

My sidekick...Otis

I just love these furry creatures that are walking around our house. They have the coolest tails and I'm so intruiged by them! Every time Milo or Otis walks by I stop what I'm doing and just stare at their tails. Mommy is a bit nervous by this, she keeps saying something about me pulling on these long tails once I'm moving around. I was in the middle of eating my peaches and wouldn't take another bite because Otis had jumped up on the stool to see if he could share my food with me. I didn't mind but I don't think mommy was too hip on that idea.

Dear Uncle Brandon & Auntie Kim...

Thank you SO much for all of the fun gifts you gave me for Christmas! I especially love my REPUB blankie! I sleep with it, chew on it, drool on it...it's already been washed many many times!!!

So sick!

My naps weren't peaceful and wonderful like they normally are while I've been sick. Mommy sure enjoyed the cuddle time though...but is glad that I'm finally feeling much better!

Be patient with my mommy...she's trying to get my blog updated, we've got lots to share! For the past three weeks we've all been pretty sick in my family. It all started with me...I had a double ear infection and some weird eye infection that knocked me for a loop. Then mommy and daddy got sick. Then I had a relapse again so it's been an interesting few weeks at our house!

Auntie Amber, I promise to have more pictures up here soon! Mommy left her camera at Grandma & Grandpa's house when she was there last weekend.
