Choo Choo Carter

Last weekend we met Grandma & Grandpa Carter over in Madison for a train show. I have been to train shows before but nothing like this one! I had so much fun! It was supposed to be a family day but I don't remember seeing much of Grandma OR Grandpa. Mommy kept receiving phone calls from Grandma asking where we were. That Grandpa of mine was too busy buying train "stuff" for his train room.
It was my lucky day on Saturday because I won a caboose for the train set that I won at a previous train show. I think Grandpa is trying to build my love of trains...I think it is working. The whole day my favorite word was "choo choo."
Thanks for a fun time Grandma & Grandpa - can't wait to go to the next show with you! Maybe this time we can all stay together as a group! :)

Think God Would Mind If Mommy...

Brought a camera to church with her from now on?? Today's service was just too precious and if mommy would have been slightly more daring she would have been up in the front of the church snapping my picture...

Let me rewind with the weekend recap (sorry no photos this time fans!). We headed back home for the weekend for a baby shower for mommy's friend, Michelle Williams-Rohner. I had sooooo much fun racing around Grandma Williams' house! We missed you Auntie Amber! :( There were so many kiddos there - we can't wait to meet you baby Rohner!!

So the rest of the weekend was spent traveling between Grandma/pa Flack & Carter's houses.

Now this is the part where mommy wishes she would have brought the camera with her to church. Today me, mommy, daddy, Grandma/pa Flack AND Grandpa Carter (we missed you Grandma C) went to the Flack's church for their early service. It started out like the typical Sunday service...I was snuggled away in the nursery with all my new friends. THEN I got to go on an adventure! All the kids were invited into the sanctuary for children's church! I've never done this before!!

The nursery worker carried me in since I was the youngest kiddo today. All of these people started to smile and giggle when we all came in! Being the shy kid that I am, I said "hi" to about everyone that looked my way all the way to the front of the church. :) I was such a good boy (at least that's what Grandma Flack kept telling me after church), I sat on my new friend's lap and was so good up in the front of church!! While I was up front I had to say hello to a few more of my new friends and then I was all ears for the rest of the children's service! I even got to participate...I knew some of the answers to the questions that were being asked! Not sure why people kept giggling during children's church! Don't you know that you people are supposed to pay attention in church? :)

I had so much fun at Grandma & Grandpa Flack's church today! I can't wait to go back again!

It was a nice weekend but stay tuned...we'll have lots and lots of pictures soon because I have many more adventures planned for the month of February and March!!! I can't wait to see Auntie Kim & Uncle Brandon again soon!!!!!

Park City Utah

Mommy & daddy had a little vacation to Utah last weekend. I had an even better vacation...with both sets of Grandparents! I had such a fun time! Here are some of mommy and daddy's photos from their skiing trip. Daddy said that he could have strapped me to his back but he was voted down by mommy!!
The first resort was awesome - fresh powder everywhere. The weather on Friday was snowy and later on in the day foggy. During our skiing day we received 9" of snow. The runs were so secluded so it was like you were all alone out there! Awesome doesn't even begin to describe the beauty of these mountains!

Saturday we headed another direction to our next resort. The weather was much different this day - so crisp and clear! After lunch Jonathan drug me up to the top of this 10500' mountain where we did a little "mountain top" skiing... I cried on the way up but followed my hubby like a good natured wife. That was the BEST skiing!! We were on top of the world!! We didn't get any pictures when we were up this high. It was so foggy by that point you couldn't get any great pictures. All I can say is WOW was it high!!! At the end of the day we started at the very top, the run took us around the side of the mountain and we skied all the way down to the base of the mountain. It was the longest run I've ever been on!!
