So does this mean Lucy can start taking her baths in the dishwasher now? ;-) Lucy always loved to help us with the dishes at night...and now we know why! All the while she was trying to figure out how to climb in!! One night we just sat back and observed (of course with the camera!) and in she went! Something tells me that and extra 20lbs on the drawer isn't a good thing. So we let her stay on there long enough to get a few pictures! Gotta capture the silly moments!

Madison Children's Museum
We took a day over Christmas break to do a family activity together. Since we had free passes to the Madison Children's Museum we figured we would head over for the day. It was a lot of fun...but SO busy! Carter loved the big huge train/city set up, running around and climbing in the big huge jungle set up, as well as the water house...he was soaked!! Lucy can't wait to be able to keep up with her brother but for now she was content with soaking it all in! ;)
Christmas again
So the Flack house is starting to burst at the seams whenever all the grandchildren come! :) This year there were five kiddos running/crawling/scooting around the house! Always fun!
Clara and Lucy are almost exactly two months apart...these two are going to have so much fun together as they grow up!

Lucy will love these in 15 years...
So Christmas night we had to get Miss Luc all cleaned up for her next big event. Since she's still a bit too squirmy to go in Grandma and Papa's big slippery tub we've been bathing her in the kitchen sink. She LOVES the water! At night when it is bathtime all we need to say is, "Lucy, it's time to take a bath" and she crawls right into the bathroom and sits and waits for you! Talk about loving her night routine!!! :)
Now to Christmas
Christmas morning we loaded up the truck and headed down to IL to be with my family for the day.
Trying to coordinate a group shot with my small family shouldn't be too hard...but we need to work on papa's camera smile!!! :)
Carter showing Grandma how to use her new iPad - he was already watching Mater tales on YouTube!!

Santa!
At Carter's Christmas sing-a-long Santa usually makes an appearance at the end of the program and gives a book to each of the kiddos. This year Grandma and Papa were lucky enough to watch the big show in person! :) Lucy wasn't quite sure about the big man in red but stayed on his lap for a few minutes before telling us she had enough! :)
The Big 3-1
I love that Jonathan is now in his 30's like his wife...feels good to be old doesn't it? :) Jonathan's 31st birthday ended with a bunch of snow being dumped on us and two boys outside playing in the snow on the deck while grilling delicious burgers. It was a good night!
Snow much fun with daddy
The month of December we had lots and lots of snow and Carter took advantage of all the time outside he could! He loves to shovel, sled (him and daddy just went down the BIG 10' long deck steps this week) and roll around in snow. Outdoor men these two are for sure!
