Go U Dub Dub!!

This weekend Uncle Brandon & Auntie Kim came down for UWW's Homecoming, our annual tradition! We had so much fun at the parade and walking the campus. Daddy & Uncle Brandon took turns packing me around in my carrier (which I LOVE by the way). Too bad the Warhawks lost to the Pointers 16-17 in the last few seconds of the game! There went their 20 something-game winning streak!!! We still managed to have a great time despite the Warhawk loss!
Thanks for coming to visit Auntie Kim & Uncle Brandon...as always, I had such a great time!!!


John McCain & Sara Palin came to the parade...how nice!!! Between the Republican Party Nominees and the Sausages UWW scored some major celebrities this year!


Not sure who got the Sausages but rock on!! The Chorizo was making his round that day...he was on practically every float, it was hilarious!!

Roar says the Lion!

Grandma Carter made me TWO Halloween costumes to choose from. A frog and a lion! I LOVE the lion costume...when daddy put it on last week I crawled around roaring like a lion. Here is a Halloween preview!

Who Says Illinois Is ALL Flat?

Ok...once you get past the middle part of the state and that horrible drive on I-39, Illinois isn't THAT FLAT people!! Daddy and Mommy had a moment away down at the Garden of the Gods to do a little hiking. Here is the proof in the pudding that this area is full of rolling hills! Such a beautiful area!! Mommy wanted to share a few pictures of this area.

Far Away Places

Last weekend I made my first trip down to Southern Illinois to visit my relatives. It had been a long time since I last saw my Great Grandma Carter and my Great Great Aunt SuSu. I also got to meet a few of my cousins along with my Great Uncle and Great Aunt Phelps.






On Saturday we enjoyed a good ol Southern Illinois Mud Bog. As my Uncle Harv said, "This is how the rednecks entertain themselves!" It was awesome...mud flying everywhere, loud trucks, arrr arr arrr...a little boy's dream!!! Our little family had never been to one of these before so it was quite the experience!! They have time qualifiers and everything, it was quite the official event. After all of these qualifiers are finished these trucks (who had a dead start from the starting line) went racing into the biggest pit of mud I've ever seen! The point is to get as far as possible. After they got as far as the could they were towed out by a tractor. The coolest part of this event is that a bunch of hyped up S-10's were racing. Next summer mommy and daddy are going to get the S-10 entered to compete! I think we stand a good chance!

Mowing Man!

We inherited a "gently used" riding lawn mower from Grandpa Carter a few weeks ago. Daddy and I drove to Freeport to pick it up. While we were home I got to spend some time with Grandma Flack while daddy was on pick up duty. It's really loud but I enjoy riding on it with daddy!!!

The Search For "THE" Pumpkin

We traveled out to the Apple Barn down south of Fort a few weekends ago on a quest to find the PERFECT pumpkin! The orchard had the neatest train (don't tell Grandpa it was only a tractor dressed like a choo choo) that took us out to the pumkpins. I enjoyed it so much that we rode it twice!
After the train dropped us off, we found quite a few pumpkins...one for each of us! I couldn't decide so daddy helped choose the BIGGEST one that we could find! Thank goodness the orchard had wagons for us to use! I had so much fun walking around the orchard on daddy's back. The day was just perfect!!!


The train was so much fun! I really enjoyed watching everything around me!



Can I take all of these home with me?
