Brookfield Zoo

Yes...that's right folks, the Flack's went to the zoo in the dead of winter! :) Every year for Grandma and Grandpa Flack's Christmas gift/anniversary we always try and do something fun as a group instead of gifts. This year we saw the Christmas lights at the Chicago zoo. It was a COLD night but we had a BLAST!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thomas is mine!

Christmas with the Carter's is always chaotic so we could add a few dozen kiddos to the mix and it wouldn't change the outcome! :) For some reason mommy didn't get a family shot this year!! The family shot consisted of mommy snapping these shots of the "kids" playing trains with me. I was beginning to wonder WHO this gift was for...me or THEM!!!

 

 

 

 

Flack Christmas

I think Grandma Flack was glad to see all of us leave on Christmas night! This year was the most active year yet...and it's only going to get better with two more Grandkids added into the mix! My little sister/brother and my Auntie Jennifer also has another baby on the way! Fun stuff! Needless to say, it was a fun afternoon celebrating with my favorite cousins! We got lots of goodies from everyone!

 

 

 

 

Waiting for Santa

This was the first year where I got to help carry out the milk & cookies for Santa and the carrots for his Reindeer. We sat them out before bedtime. I picked out all the special goodies for Santa too! The first thing I asked daddy on Christmas morning was if Santa ate his cookies! There were a few crumbs left that I was able to gobble up!

 

 

 

 

Preschool Sing-A-Long

My first Christmas concert! My preschool class sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star! I stood up at the front and mommy could tell something was up...then my eyes found daddy and I was off! Daddy sat with me up front for the rest of the concert while the rest of the classes sang their songs. We finished the concert off with a visit from Santa! He brought me a Thomas book!

 

 

 

 

Santa Visit 2009

Our local bank brought in Santa one Saturday morning from the North Pole! We headed out for a visit and to give him our Christmas list this year. I was a little reluctant at first but after I gave him "knuckles" and a hug I hopped right in his lap!

 

 

First Snow Fall of the Year!

First big snow fall of the year - and boy did we get a lot of snow! Daddy played taxi to a few of the neighbors that next morning while taking mommy to work. I had a lot of fun helping shovel and playing out in the fun snow!

 

 

 

 

Christmas Decorating...Carter Style!

The day after Thanskgiving is our annual Christmas decorating day. Since it was just mommy & me that day I got to help with the lights and all the fun decorating! I really enjoyed climbing on the Christmas storage bins and helping hang up the lights!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grandpa Flack's Big Rig

Sorry mommy has been sooooo bad with blog posts - the month just got away from her, no excuses!

Just our luck a few weeks ago Grandpa Flack visited us one morning! He was just down the road delivering a load so daddy took me down for a quick visit!

 

 

 

 

My Favorite Spot

I love my bed...love love love! This is where I like to hang out sometimes. Every night my bed is full of animals, cars, Mack (it's a semi truck/trailer!), books and anything else that mommy will let me take in there with me. Some nights there isn't much room left for me but I sure am happy with all my friends! On this particular morning I told mommy that I was going to go and read books. Mommy didn't realize that I was going to put all of my books into bed and read them there.
