Duck...Duck...Carter

We had a huge stack of old bread, pancakes...any other kind of old baked good you can imagine just sitting in our freezer ready for the ducks. You see, an unfortunate event happened two years ago now...a few snowmobilers ran over the local flock of ducks and there were only a small few that survived. Thankfully the population is building back up now and we've been able to go and feed them. They were so happy to see us until we let Carter loose. :) He got them all back in the water very very quickly. :) Lucy just LOVES to watch Carter and so she was just in heaven watching him run around making the duckies fly up high and then land in the water.
