Happy Birthday Owen!

To my faithful blog followers...very sorry for the LONG delay in posts. Long story short, a battle erupted between me and my photo editing program. Unfortunately the photo program won...taking away all of my cropped/saved images for the last four years. Thankfully I still have the originals but countless hours were spent editing, cropping, tweaking colors...so now we start all over. That, my friends, left a pretty yucky taste in my mouth to even attempt to start blogging again.
BUT, today is a new day! I am starting over with 2012 images. Thankfully not a whole lot has happened since Christmas but I do have some fun 2012 events to post as I get everything up and running again!
Early January our good buddy, Owen, turned 3. We headed over to one of our favorite places to visit (The Children's Play Gallery) where his birthday event was hosted. The kiddos had a blast playing on the life-size pirate ship, face painting, acting out fun skits on stage and so much more. Christmas Cookies

Christmas cut-outs are a tradition at our house...or at least for the past four years they have been. :) This year's movie of choice while we worked, "Polar Express." Carter worked a lot longer this year and was excited to eat his creations. Lucy, however, "worked" on all the cookies and had a stash of dough that she kept working with and wouldn't let me bake. ;) Needless to say, she's my little baker/helper. Can't wait to do this again next year!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Elite Eight Christmas Parade

My how our little group is expanding! We are going to need a wide-angle lens to take a group shot! The adult:kid ratio is getting out of control...and the group keeps expanding! :) Fort's annual Holiday Parade - always a fun time with great friends!

 

 

 

 

 

UWW Homecoming...long overdue!

The Wegner's first overnight trip with Katelyn! She did awesome and the newly expanded group had a GREAT time together...as always! Such a fun tradition we have with the Wegner's and can't wait to watch our children grow up enjoying the same homecoming traditions!! Halloween

Carter LOVES Jake & the Neverland Pirates on Disney. So this year daddy was Captain Hook, mommy was Izzy, Lucy was the adorable parrot Skully and Carter made his debut as Jake. Grandma Carter did an incredible job on the costumes - we can't thank her enough for all of the hard work she put into these costumes!!!!! Daddy did a GREAT job on the swords too!!
